Monster Mentality
About us · Our origin
Monster Mentality was born in South West London in 2023 from a simple question: what more can we do for the young people around us?
Two co-founders shared a belief that too many young players with potential were going unseen, unheard and unexplored. So we created an environment designed to find that potential, nurture it and give it the opportunity to grow.
What started as an idea quickly became a philosophy:
Talent opens the door. Mentality decides what happens next.
Today, Monster Mentality is built around developing the player, the person and the community around them. We believe development is not about discovering who is already the best, it is about creating the environment that helps people become their best.
At the heart of everything we do is ‘Ubuntu’, an ancient African philosophy rooted in our shared humanity:
“I am because we are.”
We believe no one develops alone. The coaches who challenge you, the teammates who push you, the family who supports you and the community that surrounds you all play a part in shaping who you become.
That is the Monster Mentality.
